Net Galley Success…

In recent posts of not so long ago, I went on quite the request spree. I have never really talked about some og the other amazing things that have happened in the time since I have joined and given my opinions over some books… I thought I would brag about that a bit for a few minutes…

I have been awarded  this little badge by Net Galley without any notifications being sent by email. It just happens to feature on my home page over there. I can not say that my reviews on NG are as riviting as the one I write here on my blog, but when I send my opinion I normally tag the finished WP review in there too. I am quite proud of this badge too be honest. I believe this is the reason why I am getting most books I request, even though my feedback percentage is under the required 80% mark. The description for this badge reads as follows:

Members receive this badge when 3 or more of their reviews have been added to any NetGalley title details page by a publisher. (You can see which reviews have been added on your Shelf, under Feedback Sent.)

Then I recieved this one not so long ago, I have only been a member of NG for just over a year now but I have already given voice to 25 books. That is pretty neat I feel and I will continue to make use of NG’s good graces for as long as I am able too. I think the next Milestone will be 50 books, I do not think I am that far yet, but who knows, I might be writing another post like this some time soon…

Members earn this badge based on total number of books reviewed.

To close things off I would also like to showcase two more books I recieved in the last few days, I just have not had the time to type the post yet. They follow the kids in the Warhammer settings of which I have done a review of not too long ago.

I now have a lot of reading to catch up on. If my blog goes a bit quiet in the next two weeks, please be patient, I have been given a hectic schedule for the end of the month. I hope that I can put up a few more reviews before the end of August tho.

      1. You and me, both. I’m making good progress through Bone Ships by R.J Barker and then, after that I have two more Netgalley titles and two that authors have submitted to me … then I’m caught up on obligations and can read things on my TBR. That’s the dream any way.

  1. Ooh! Nice to see all these badges! That is seriously awesome! No worries about the blog here: I think I speak for pretty much most people here when I say your content is always worth the wait, so take all the time you need, and have fun reading! 😊

  2. Nice work, mate. I’ve now got a backlog of GW books in my queue. It was probably not such a good idea to reques them, as I never seem to have time to just sit and read movels.. 😦
